Miami-based security and intelligence firm, AGIS Group, has joined forces with veteran-owned 501(c)3 charity, Help Our Heroes, to charter a Boeing 767, filled with vital emergency supplies for the victims of the devastating Maui wildfire.
Local Maui resident, Kanamu, who has courageously established an emergency response camp in the aftermath of the fire, reached out with an urgent request for supplies such as freshwater, canned goods, and burn kits. Residents and those affected will be able to access the supplies at Kanamu's emergency response camp, which has become a beacon of hope for many. Recognizing the dire need, AGIS Group and Help Our Heroes swiftly responded to the call to action. The recent Maui wildfire, which tragically claimed the lives of over 100 locals, has left the community in profound shock and mourning. With more than 1,000 individuals still unaccounted for, the scale of the disaster remains staggering. Immediate and sustained relief efforts are vital. Both AGIS Group and Help Our Heroes have expressed their continued commitment to support the community as it begins the long journey to recovery. The wider community and supporters are urged to contribute to the ongoing relief efforts, whether through donations, volunteer work, or any form of assistance that can help rebuild the lives of the Maui residents affected by this tragedy. All donations will fund both the flight and supplies to directly support resident efforts on the ground in Maui. |
