Help Our Heroes is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization that provides consulting and planning services, education, and charity assistance to heroes (military, police, fire, and or EMS), hero-affiliated organizations, and or communities in need.
At Help Our Heroes, our main mission is to help first responders and those who have served or who are currently serving.
Founded by Blake Richardson, a disabled combat veteran, Blake got out of the Marine Corps and slowly started struggling with his health. A lot of that was due to the lack of preparedness when getting out of the military and not knowing where to turn. He started looking for businesses and nonprofits that could help assist with his needs, but it was difficult because the only businesses and nonprofits that were showing up were big organizations with large ad and marketing budgets. Knowing there had to be other businesses and nonprofits out there that help veterans, Blake started researching and couldn’t find much in his area.
After years of trying to figure out how to fix this problem and talking with other heroes with similar issues, the Help Our Heroes team developed an easy way to help spotlight smaller businesses and nonprofits that give back to our heroes.
